I have always loved dry shampoo. Even before I learned there was dry shampoo, I loved dry shampoo. In high school I used baby powder to stretch out wash days it wasn’t until college that a roommate introduced me to the real deal dry shampoo. I was hooked and never looked back.
I’ve tried expensive brands, drugstore brands, texturizing, scented, natural and everything in between. I have some favorites and some you couldn’t pay me to try again. But it wasn’t until recently that I realized I was doing dry shampoo all wrong.
Adding one step upped my dry shampoo game, when I didn’t think that there was any way to up the dry shampoo game. No matter your favorite dry shampoo brand you are going to want to give this tip a try. After a day or two (or six, no shame in your dry shampoo game here) and the dry shampoo starts to leave a bit of build up on your scalp, it can be icky or even worst case scenario, lead to dandruff. This trick will eliminate the buildup while still giving you all of the benefits of your favorite dry shampoo. Watch the video below to see how!
